Our Second Fundraising Gala and Silent Auction was another major success!We are excited to announce that we raised just over $45,000!!! Thank you so much to Klaus Maier of Bavaria BMW and Dennis Mozak of Synergy Projects for sponsoring this event! We had a wonderful evening and everyone enjoyed the interactive painter (MONK), the martini mashed potato bar, the building shaped cake, the ice sculpture, and the very funny auctioneer! We also had a wonderful time dancing to the “Urbanites” - with Chandelle Rimmer’s vocals!! Many thanks to all our volunteers who did such a wonderful job (amid all the frenzy!). Thank you to Marni Kuhlmann for helping us out at the MC of the event, her support and flexibility really meant a lot! Thank you to the families who attended the gala, it was so wonderful to have all of you there!! Thank you to Wanda and Ray Zadrey for not only bringing so many friends and contacts to the event but for helping to support the entire function with everything from acquiring silent auction items to keeping those live auction bids high!!! Thank you so much to Colleen and Tony LaGrange from Quantum, Miller Thomson, A & E Architects, and West Canadian Printing, our fantastic sponsors who helped make the evening possible!
