
EPIC – Maier Centre Active Discovery Session 2

Active Discovery is a semi-structured play-based program aimed at providing children and youth diagnosed with autism with increased opportunity to participate in physical activity according to their abilities and preferences. The surrounding environment will be set up as to encourage children and youth to freely explore their surroundings, engage with different equipment, and discover physical activity that is meaningful and exciting to them while simultaneously working on their fundamental movement skill development. All Sessions will be held at the Maier Centre.
Active Discovery (Ages 4-7 years) Time: 12.15-1.15pm
Session 1: Saturdays – January 26, February 2, 9, 23, March 2, 9 (6 sessions) – This time slot is now fully booked
Session 2: Saturdays – April 6, 13, 27, May 4, 11, 18 (6 sessions)
Maximum number of participants: 8/session

Session 1: Saturdays – January 26, February 2, 9, 23, March 2, 9 (6 sessions)
Session 2: Saturdays – April 6, 13, 27, May 4, 11, 18 (6 sessions)
