Learning Services – Sibling Support Workshop
February 27 @ 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
Having a brother or sister with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a unique and challenging experience. Parents often spent a lot of time, attention, and resources on their child with ASD, and siblings may feel confused, alone, or less supported at times. This workshop will provide siblings an opportunity to connect with their peers, share their interests, successes and challenges, learn new information, ask questions, and most importantly, have fun!
Sessions will be split between age groups to ensure activities are appropriate for those attending and will be run in a three session grouping to allow the children to build connections, develop trust, and lasting friendships with each other. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all sessions will be run via Zoom.
