Learning Services – Understanding Your Child’s Sensory Needs
April 18 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
A variety of sensory processing challenges can often be present in children with ASD. Children can be over- and under-responsive to various stimuli which impact their overall regulation and ability to manage. Some children are negatively impacted by loud sounds or bright lights while other children are naturally drawn to them. This workshop will provide an overview of sensory needs, explore what they look like, how they impact our children, and how we can positively respond to their ongoing sensory needs.
